The Present and Future of Agrigenomic Assays: Applications and Operations in Agri- and Aquaculture
The event has been concluded!!
This forum will explore stable methods for producing agricultural genomic databases and their effective use in breeding and resource surveys.
- Date: September 12, 2024
- Time: 10:00-12:00
- Venue: AGRI NEXT TALK (K1000), TaiNEX 1, Taipei
- Organizer: Opportunity(OPPTY) Biotech Co., Ltd.
The genome comprises all the cellular information necessary for an organism\\'s growth and function, primarily the DNA sequences of chromosomes. In recent years, genomic analysis technology and analysis cost thresholds have ceased to exist, prompting the rapid accumulation of genome databases, which now total trillion bases from 110,000 species. The widespread availability of high-performance computers and advances in computer science have driven genomic data science, enabling comprehensive research. Building a genomic big data database supports fundamental biological research and has applications in agriculture and fisheries. This forum will explore stable methods for producing agricultural genomic databases and their effective use in breeding and resource surveys.
