The Meishan Camellia Oil is pressed using traditional pressing methods and under HACCP and ISO22000 conditions. Camellia Oil is rich in minerals, vitamins, mono-unsaturated fatty acids and history. It has long been in use in traditional Chinese medicine and cooking.
Known as Taiwan's Golden Oil, or the Olive Oil of the East, camellia oil has a smoke point of 220°C (428.60°F), making it less likely to produce fumes during cooking while making it suitable for both Eastern and Western cuisines. Frying, stir-frying, sauteing, baking (if used as a butter substitute), or used with other ingredients to create a salad dressing.
