Hitspectra Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. is a startup company spun off from National Chung Cheng University. We specialize in non-invasive applications utilizing hyperspectral imaging and AI-based image recognition technologies. By integrating Taiwan's robust hardware manufacturing capabilities with advanced software-hardware integration, we develop intelligent systems that serve smart agriculture, smart manufacturing, and smart healthcare sectors.
Our current flagship product is a smart fruit sorting machine, which has been applied to fruits such as lemons and cherry tomatoes. Through intelligent defect detection, ripeness assessment, and size grading, our system enables standardized operations, reducing quality issues caused by human fatigue during manual inspection.
At present, our primary focus is helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) achieve intelligent upgrades within their operations. Moving forward, we aim to continuously collect imagery from our deployed smart systems to build a hyperspectral image database. This database will empower consumers to more easily select high-quality or "ready-to-eat" fruits.
Our core technology, hyperspectral image, improves the accuracy of traditional image recognition. The current directions of the application include biomedical optical inspection and agricultural fruit quality inspection, both combined with artificial intelligence algorithm. Therefore, our strategy is to apply technologies include hyperspectral image, optical module system and color imaging, in hyperspectral image reconstruction, optical lens module and light source system. We are also applying our technologies in cancer cell detection and agricultural fruit quality inspection, that have brought us multiple patents from Taiwan and the U.S. In the future, we will combine our technologies with machine learning for further improvement. Although there are many image detection patents in the market, they have yet combined with hyperspectral imaging technology to increase the detectability factor, which give us advantages in the field.
