Taiwan SMART Agriweek 2025 Unveils “AGRIFOOD Taiwan” to Transform the Global Agri-Food Supply Chain
The 11th edition of Taiwan SMART Agriweek will return from September 3 to 5, 2025, at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. With the theme “Opening a New Chapter,” the show emphasizes five strategic pillars under its S.M.A.R.T. framework—Sustainability, Market-driven, Advance, Resilience, and Technology. This year, the event introduces a new corporate identity system (CIS), reflecting Taiwan’s commitment to elevating the agri-food industry through innovation and global connectivity. The show is expected to host over 400 exhibitors from 20 countries, featuring more than 2,000 cutting-edge solutions.
One of the key highlights is the launch of AGRIFOOD Taiwan, a dedicated zone that showcases how Taiwan integrates smart technologies into agriculture, aquaculture, and livestock production to enhance food quality, safety, and sustainability from the source. “AGRIFOOD Taiwan highlights Taiwan’s strength in merging smart technologies with agricultural productions,” said Irene Liu, General Manager of Taiwan SMART Agriweek. “By transforming the quality and traceability of food at the source, we are helping the entire industry upgrade to meet global demands.”
Four Innovation Zones Covering the Farm-to-Table Value Chain
AGRIFOOD Taiwan covers four core exhibition zones:
- From Farm to Table: Premium fruits & vegetables, whole grains & cereals, premium aquatic products, quality livestock products
- Food Innovations: Ready-to-eat convenience foods, plant-based alternatives, advanced livestock processing, innovative aquatic products
- Functional Food & Nutrition: functional ingredients, nutritionally fortified foods, senior wellness nutrition, Chinese herbal tonic foods

The area will also highlight green innovations such as circular agriculture and carbon-neutral aquaculture, aligning with global sustainability goals. Concurrent forums will explore topics including smart farming applications, food process innovation, and logistics collaboration.
AI Matchmaking System to Boost Global Trade Opportunities
To accelerate international partnerships, the organizer will launch an AI-powered matchmaking system that pairs exhibitors with buyers based on specific needs and profiles. With Taiwan’s deep-rooted strengths in agriculture and R&D, coupled with its complete supply chain, AGRIFOOD Taiwan is positioned as a powerful gateway to the global agri-food market.
