2023 Taiwan Smart Agriweek & Taiwan International Ocean & Fisheries Industry Show Grand Opening

The "2023 Taiwan Smart Agriweek" and "Taiwan International Ocean and Fisheries Industry Show" has officially started from today (31st) until September 2nd on the first floor of TaiNEX Hall 1. Organized by My Exhibition Co., Ltd., the event features opening speeches by Deputy Minister Du Wen-Zhen of the Ministry of Agriculture, Changhua County Magistrate Wang Hui-Mei, and Chairman Lin Cong-Xian of the Council of Agriculture.

Guided by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Bureau of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, this year's theme is "Balancing Profit and Sustainability." The exhibition uniquely emphasizes "Smart Technology" as Asia's sole global business and trade platform that interconnects diverse agricultural sectors such as farming, fishing, livestock, and cold chain industries. It offers domestic and international exhibitors the chance to find partners and gain global exposure, serving as a prime channel for entry into Taiwanese, Asia-Pacific, and global markets.

This year's showcase includes the Taiwan International Agriculture and Horticulture Technology Expo, Taiwan International Livestock and Poultry Technology Expo, Taiwan International Agricultural Fresh Cold Chain Expo, and Taiwan International Ocean and Fisheries Industry Show. With 303 exhibitors from 20 countries, especially Taiwan, displaying over 2,000 products and technologies, the exhibition holds significant importance across various sectors.

This exhibition is accompanied by the Ministry of Economic Affairs' International Trade Bureau buyer program and active international promotion. It has attracted professionals and buyers from over 50 countries, including delegations from Vietnam's agricultural representatives, marine aquaculture associations, feed associations from Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia, aquatic-related organizations from South Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, as well as expert groups from the National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and Asian Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce.

Exhibition highlights encompass the Smart Agriculture Technology Services Pavilion showcasing smart agriculture research by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Sustainable Farming Achievement Pavilion focusing on shared economy and agricultural emission reduction, the AI Animal Health Industry Pavilion offering intelligent solutions for poultry farming and avian influenza prevention, and the Innovative Feed Technology Pavilion promoting antibiotic-free aquaculture. Additionally, institutions like the Industrial Technology Research Institute, Tai Li, Sun Fresh, among others, exhibit professional cold chain preservation, supply chain management, and smart low-carbon solutions.

The Taiwan International Ocean and Fisheries Industry Exhibition features five areas, highlighting smart farming technology, circular water technology, cross-industry collaboration in AI, 5G IoT, marine environmental protection, and fishery sustainability. It also presents the latest aquatic seed cultivation technology and low-carbon fishing gear. Exhibitors include Water Resources Agency, National Taiwan Ocean University, Taiwan Agriculture Research Institute, Marine Waste Alliance, and others.

Ms. Liu Yuan-Ling, General Manager of My Exhibition, highlights the success of integrating the agricultural, fisheries, livestock, and cold chain industries.
