Smart Weighing and AI Bird Deterrence Address Two Key Challenges in Poultry Farming
The poultry industry grapples with rising feed costs (Ukraine-Russia war), climate change affecting egg production and disease (avian influenza), an aging workforce causing labor shortages, and the imperative to improve breeding and management efficiency. Current chicken health assessments, considering factors like activity, distribution, vocalizations, and appearance, mostly depend on human intervention, even in automated farms, hindering quantification and standardization.
iCHASE provides a comprehensive poultry AI center solution, offering various software and hardware services. This includes monitoring poultry weight, activity levels, respiratory diseases, stimulating poultry activities, and enhancing biosecurity. Through data analysis, precise feeding, medication administration, and disease warnings can be implemented. The goal is to enable farmers to easily and promptly grasp the current health status of chicken flocks. More product lines will be added to our AI center in the future.
【AIoT Automated Poultry Weight Scale】
The growth curve of chickens is a crucial indicator of their health. iCHASE introduces the AIOT Smart Weight Scale, utilizing cameras combined with AI edge computing technology. Through an intuitive weight calculation method, the total weight ÷ the number of chickens recognized by AI = the average weight of chickens. The accuracy of weight measurement has reached 98.7%. Weight data is uploaded to the cloud, allowing farmers to easily access and promptly monitor the health status of chicken flocks for precise breeding.
【AI Bird Repeller】
iCHASE has introduced an AI Bird Repeller with a 4K optical lens and AI edge computing technology. It automatically locks onto the positions of wild birds and employs a high-power green laser to achieve bird deterrence. Currently, it can accurately detect the locations of wild birds. To expand its scanning range, it features a 360-degree rotating pan-tilt mechanism below, effectively providing a deterrence range of up to 400 meters in diameter. This helps reduce the risk of virus transmission in poultry farms and provides comprehensive protection for poultry enclosures.
