Enriched colony cages NF
High laying perfomance under optimal animal welfare conditions
The enriched colony cages type NF have the laying nest placed at the front and give the eggs an extremely short way to the safety of the egg channel. Needless to say that these models comply with all regulations and offer birds the so called 5 freedoms. This model comes with solid or wire partitions, with or without manure drying and several options or features that can be chosen or left out, depending on local established interpretations of regulations. The height of the cages also reduces the risk of coccidiosis, as there is less contact of hens with the manure belt of the superior tier.

Tropical cage
Optimal air circulation and enhanced air flow at bird level.
The Hellmann tropical cage is designed to perform in hot regions and has a depth of 640 mm or max. 690 mm. It has wire partitions and a height of 665 mm. The added height allows birds to stretch without touching the manure belt overtop thus reducing the risk for coccidiosis. It also allows better air circulation than traditional cages and helps to maintain bird comfort and productivity even in the hottest climates. Open houses can be equipped with optional UV protection for the manure belts. The easy-to-clean structures and durable, corrosion-resistant materials reduce the time and effort required to maintain the cages in humid tropical settings, ensuring long-term investment protection and best possible egg quality
throughout the entire laying period.
